
Jambi, May 2, 2025 — Another proud achievement has been made by students of the State Islamic University (UIN) Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi at the 2025 Jambi Province Language Ambassador Awards, held at the Aston Hotel Jambi.
In this highly competitive and linguistically meaningful event, UIN Jambi students excelled by winning multiple top awards—ranging from first place to the top five, along with several consolation prizes. This success is a testament to their outstanding capabilities and strong commitment to the preservation and promotion of the Indonesian language.
The Rector of UIN STS Jambi, Prof. Dr. H. Kasful Anwar, M.Pd., expressed his deep appreciation and pride for the achievements.
“Alhamdulillah, this is a great honor for our university. Our students are not only academically excellent, but also active and accomplished in language and cultural development,” said the Rector.
The award ceremony was attended by university leadership, including the Vice Rectors II and III, the Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Vice Deans from the Faculties of Science and Technology, Economics and Islamic Business, and Tarbiyah and Teaching Sciences, as well as the Head of the Language Development Unit (UPB).

- 5th Place: M. Pebriyan Nurhan S. (English Literature)
Consolation Winners:
- 3rd Consolation (Male): Dandy Pradana Putra (English Literature)
- 3rd Consolation (Female): Syaikha Zakira Denila (English Literature)
- 4th Consolation: Yulia Febrianti Putri (English Literature)
- 5th Consolation: Thariani Saffanah (Islamic Criminal Law)
This outstanding performance is expected to inspire all UIN Jambi students to continue creating, contributing, and bringing pride to their university at both regional and national levels.
